Faith Formation

Saint John’s is a thinking church. We believe faith formation is a lifelong endeavor. We take scripture seriously but not literally and hold to the great Christian tradition but seek to have a faith that is engaged with our modern world.

Children’s Faith Formation: Children, pre-kindergarten through 6th grade..

Confirmation: Youth 7th through 9th grades prepare to affirm their baptism; taught by the pastor.

Adult Forum: Presentations by guest speakers and congregation members on a wide range of topics.

Bible Studies/Book Group/Adult Class: Occasional Sunday morning and weeknight opportunities for adult faith formation.

Anti-Racism Committee: Works to educate about and dismantle racism in our congregation and community.
