Lace for Love Pop-Up Sale, TODAY: Member Paula Cerdas has started a non-profit, Lace for Love, which collects donated wedding gowns and sells them at a discount to new brides. The profits from the sale of the dresses goes to local hunger relief programs like Table to Table. Stop by Hinman Hall to learn more about her new venture.

Godspeed and Farewell for RJ Klein: Join us on August 8 as we bid farewell to longtime member, RJ Klein as he moves to upstate New York.

Sing with the Summer Choir: Sundays, August 8 and 15. Join Connie Schmalz around the Kawai piano in the front of the sanctuary at 9:30 AM. All are welcome.

LSMNJ Backpack Collection! LSMNJ will once again supply students in our affordable housing with school supplies. You may either donate funds to St. John's by AUGUST 15, and we will send the combined contributions to LSMNJ Education Fund to buy needed school items, or you can purchase items on your own and ship/deliver directly to the LSMNJ Burlington office at 3 Manhattan Drive, Burlington, NJ 08016 (Monday–Friday only) by AUGUST 20. A list of needed items can be found in the narthex.

Summer Reading: The Anti-Racism Committee has two recommendations for your summer reading list, both of which will be discussed in the fall. The Color of Law by Richard Rothstein to and The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson. Books will be available in the office for $10.

Music Director: Please continue to hold our Director of Music, Donna Garzinsky, in your prayers as she recovers from surgery over the next four–six months. We are blessed to have Wayne Dietterick and Connie Schmalz filling in during her absence.

Thanks to our knitters! Bill and Linda Walker delivered 42 hats and 16 scarves to the Seaman’s Institute in Elizabeth for their Christmas at Sea program. The hats and scarves were made by Regina Newman and Jean Grabinsky.

Attention All College Students and Parents: The Hinman Loan Fund has been changed to the Hinman Scholarship Fund. The changing needs of our youth and ever increasing costs of a college education were the major reasons for this change.
