Appalachia Service Project Update: We have 11 volunteers (four adults, seven youth) scheduled to go to Appalachia from July 2-9, 2022. All volunteers should submit their $300.00 deposits to the church office/ASP mailbox as soon as possible (deadline February 1). Training and fundraising dates will be scheduled by March. Additional volunteer slots for this awesome week of service are still available; please contact Laura Snyder at njsnyders5@verizon.net.

Free College Search Webinars: The ELCA colleges is kicking off 2022 with the College Readiness Webinar Series, free webinars to answer questions about applying to or preparing for college. The series is composed of five different webinars offered throughout February. Go to www.imaginecolleges.org/webinars/ to register for the first webinar on February 8.

Bishop’s Challenge Book Study: Join Bishop Bartholomew on Tuesday, February 22 or Thursday, February 24 from 7:30-9:00 PM for a discussion of Isabel Wilkerson’s book, The Warmth of Other Suns, about why millions of Black Americans left the South between 1915 and 1970. Cross Roads Youth Retreats in April & May: Retreats are available for both Elementary and Middle School students. Both retreats run from Friday evening at 7:00 PM through Sunday 10:30 AM after a worship service. The cost for the weekend retreat is $95.
