We need help for all of our Holy Week services–9 services in 8 days! We need ushers, assisting ministers, readers, chair arrangers, brunch bakers, etc. All skill levels are welcome — we have a job for you! Please sign up!

Easter Brunch Donations: Donations of egg casseroles, fruit or baked goods are needed. Baked goods and fruit need to be delivered to the kitchen by Saturday, April 19. Breakfast casseroles must be delivered by 8:45 AM Sunday morning, marked “Easter Breakfast.” Specialty foods (nut free, gluten free, etc) are also needed. Contact Jama Bowman with questions or sign-up online or on the sheet in the entryway.

Kirsten Russler Funeral: In the sure and certain hope of the resurrection, the funeral for Kirsten Russler, wife of Ian Noble and mother of Alex and Erik Noble, will be held at the church on Monday, April 21 at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow. Please hold the entire family in your prayers.

Easter Offerings: Will you support God’s mission through the ministry of St. John’s this Easter through your regular offerings and special Easter offerings? 

Afternoon Tea for Cross Roads, May 10 at 3:00 PM: Save the date! St. John’s is hosting our annual Afternoon Tea to raise money for Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center. The recommended entry donation is $50 per person. There will be additional opportunities to give to Cross Roads at the fundraiser. All are welcome and fancy dress is encouraged—bowties and hats are expected while white gloves and mink stoles optional. Register by May 1 online or call the office at 908.273.3846, please include the number of people attending. Space is limited. Attendees can pay by cash, check or credit card at the door, mail a check to St. John’s.

Lent Collections Update: Thank you to everyone who brought in items for our Lenten collections. We collected 215 boxes of cereal for Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, 283 cans of tuna or chicken for Summit’s GRACE, 118 cleaning products for Family Promise, $975 from Soup for a Cause for St. Stephan’s-Grace Community’s outreach programs.
