Commemoration of the Emanuel 9: TODAY, St. John’s, along with the ELCA, will commemorate the martyrdom of the Emanuel 9. Our Antiracism Committee will also be hosting a conversation at 9:00 AM in Hinman Hall. For ELCA resources related to the commemoration, click here.

Honoring of Graduates, June 27: We will offer a blessing for our graduates next Sunday during worship. Please send your congratulations to our graduates. Contact information can be obtained from the church office.

Rally for Social Ministry FINAL WEEK: This is the last week to help support five of St. John’s hunger and housing ministry partners. To date, we have raised $1800 of the goal of $5000. Rally for Social Ministry Worship & Celebration: Outdoor worship service, June 27 at 5:00 PM. There will be a celebration rally after the service with music, dancing, fellowship, food preparation for Bridges, and a food drive for Loaves and Fishes. Food drive items needed includes pasta, pasta sauce, canned tuna or chicken, canned stews, hearty soups, rice, canned vegetables, instant coffee, cereal, oil, dried or canned beans, peanut butter, jelly & cake mixes.

Rummage Sale, July 9 & 10. Clean out your closets! Donation drop-off begins July 4.

Altar Flowers: With worship returning to the sanctuary, altar flowers will resume! Please sign up in the rear entry. The weekly flower cost to the church is $80. Please give as you are able, online or with a check.
