Rally for Social Ministry Collection UPDATE: Help us support five of St. John’s hunger and housing ministry partners. Our goal is $5,000, and we have brought in $4000 so far in donations–WE NEED YOUR HELP!! If you make a monetary donation, please also fill out this Google Form for our records. Make all donations DIRECTLY TO ST. JOHN’S via check or online “Special Offerings.”
Rally for Social Ministry Worship & Celebration: Outdoor worship service, June 27 at 5:00 PM. There will be a celebration rally after the service with music, dancing, fellowship, food preparation for Bridges, and a food drive for Loaves and Fishes. Food drive items needed include pasta, pasta sauce, canned tuna or chicken, canned stews, hearty soups, rice, canned vegetables, instant coffee, cereal, oil, dried or canned beans, peanut butter, jelly & cake mixes.
Rummage Sale, July 9 & 10. Clean out your closets! Donation drop-off begins July 4. If you would like to drop off items earlier, contact Jane Bowman or the church office.
Sing with the Summer Choir: Sundays, August 8 and 15. Join Connie Schmalz around the Kawai piano in the front of the sanctuary at 9:30 AM. All are welcome.
Altar Flowers: With worship returning to the sanctuary, altar flowers will resume! Please sign up in the rear entry. The weekly flower cost to the church is $80. Please give as you are able, online or with a check.
