Market Street Mission Coat Drive: Please donate new and gently used coats, scarves, and gloves by leaving them in collection box in the narthex by October 30.
RIC Forum, October 30 at 9:00 AM: We are thrilled to welcome nationally-regarded speaker and LBGTQ advocate, Jamie Bruesehoff. In her role as a mother of a trans youth and a trans rights educator, as well as a life-long Lutheran in our synod, Jamie will share with us her unique insights about inclusion and justice for queer people.

Thank you Knitters! Bill and Linda Walker delivered 40 hats and 12 scarves to the Seamen’s Institute to the Port of Elizabeth for their Christmas at Sea program, along with small toiletries, candy, and cards for distribution to seamen at Christmastime at the port and the Mississippi River. Many thanks to Regina Neiman, Claire New, Linda Walker and Juli Towell for knitting the hats and scarves. Yarn and needles have been restocked in the office with a Thrivent grant. Worship Assistants Needed! Fall brings the return of two services and the Worship Committee needs YOU to serve as Ushers, Greeters, Readers, Assisting Ministers or to be on Altar Guild. All these jobs are essential to worship. Please reach out to Bev Kaczmarski.
Families Anonymous meetings are held at St. Johns Thursday evenings from 7:00–9:00 PM, a peer support group for parents and others concerned about the use of alcohol and drugs in a child or loved one. If you know anyone dealing with a loved one struggling with addiction who needs support, please encourage them to join us.
