Thanksgiving Potluck, TODAY: Join us after the 10:30 AM service to celebrate Thanksgiving. Bring your favorite Thanksgiving dish to share with your church family.

Summit Interfaith Thanksgiving service, Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00 PM at Fountain Baptist Church, 116 Glenside Avenue, Summit, with an offering for Summit Warm Hearts.

Advent Devotionals, “Naming Jesus,” World Hunger devotions, and Advent calendars can be picked up in the narthex.

Advent Sale running November 27 through December 18 in the chapel.

Christmas Bridges Donations: On Sunday, December 18 at 9:00 AM we will have a fun intergenerational event packing 200 sustainable lunches. Sign up in the narthex or online to donate items, which must be delivered to church by 8:00 AM, December 18.

The Mitten Tree: We are collecting hats, mittens, scarves, and winter apparel for St. Stephan’s-Grace, Newark. Bring in new/gently-used items to help our neighbors in need.

Intergenerational Christmas Choir will sing at the 5:00 PM Christmas Eve Service. Open to all children (4+), youth, and adults. The choir will rehearse on Christmas Eve at 4:00 PM. We will learn the carol at Faith Formation on Sundays at 9:00 AM.

Sum of Us Author Visit: SIC Anti-Racism Committee is bringing Heather McGhee, author of The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper to Summit, December 1, 7:00 PM at Summit High School. Admission is free but you must register in advance. See the weekly email for a registration link.

Summit Warm Hearts: Summit Interfaith Council has created emergency shelter in houses of worship during November–March. St. John's will host Thursday and Friday nights in Hinman Hall and the Adult Lounge from 8:00 PM–6:00 AM. The SIC has hired vetted, trained and insured overnight hosts.
