TODAY is Camp Sunday: Anthony Briggs, Executive Director of Cross Roads, our camp and retreat ministry will join us for worship today. Come and learn more about the wonderful gift of outdoor ministry for you and your family.

Social Justice Social Ministry will lead a forum TODAY at 9:00 AM to introduce the proposed Welcome Statement for adoption at the Annual Meeting as part of the Reconciling in Christ process. It is very important that you come to this presentation and offer any feedback so that we are prepared to adopt this statement on February 12.

Children’s Choir & Children’s Faith Formation TODAY. Choir is open to children ages 5 and up. Rehearsals begin at 9:30-10:00 AM in the Choir Room on the lower level. For more information speak to Christopher Harlow-Jennings. Children’s Faith Formation is in the Youth Lounge at 10:00 AM. For more information you can speak with Deacon Linda Walker.

Nursery will be open during church services, but will be unattended until further notice.

Budget Forum, February 5 at 9:00 AM: Please join us to review the 2023 Proposed Ministry Spending Plan in preparation for the February 12 Annual Meeting.

Appalachia Service Project 2023: And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then, I said, “Here I am! Send me.” (Isaiah 6: 8–9). St. John’s will be sending at least one team to Central Appalachia this summer (July 8–15, 2023). Will your child (age 14 and over; 8th grade graduate) join us for an amazing week of service and fun? Your $350 deposit is due by January 31. We plan to fund raise the rest. Please make checks payable to St. John’s with ASP on the memo line, and submit to the church office, attention Laura Snyder.
